Organizing continues to be the "name of the game" in our District, using dedicated funding set aside by previous AFGE Convention actions. Dedicated funding can be used for:
Our union's locals may qualify for organizing fund assistance by meeting certain conditions. Those conditions, which most of our District Locals should already meet are:

Currency in Per-Capita, in other words are not delinquent

Having a line-item for organizing in an adopted budget

Having an acceptable organizing plan

Having an Organizing Committee in place and operating

Willing to include our District Staff in organizing efforts

In 2005, more than 900 new members were recruited in scheduled organizing activities.
