District Four consists of the AFGE Local Unions in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland.
District Locals represent employees working for the federal agencies and private sector employers covered by collective bargaining agreements with our union. There are more than 80 Locals in our District. For a master listing of those Locals, click here.
Our Meetings
Our District holds four meetings each year that allow AFGE activists to share information and participate in training concerning issues affecting represented employees in the agencies we represent.
Legal Program

Elected Officers
In addition to the elected National Vice President, our District is privileged to elect officers who represent both Women's and Fair Practice issues. Our District Fair Practices Coordinator is Ms. Essie Hogue. Our District Women's Advisory Representative, Ms. Evelyn Holt.
